Alltel Invests in Mobile Wallet Services in 2009

Today, Alltel announced a new mobile banking service that it plans to roll out to customers. The Alltel Wallet will take advantage of the software and business relationships from mFoundry to provide access to more financial institutions, as well as other services such as peer-to-peer payments. Alltel already offers mobile banking services. The Alltel Wallet will become available in early 2009.

Clearwire to Ditch ‘Xohm’ Branding
